Refund Policy

Before the first session

If you cancel before the first session takes place, you will receive a full refund of the package fee, less any non-refundable third-party processing fees actually incurred.

After tutoring begins

If you cancel after the first session, you will receive a refund equal to the number of unused hours multiplied by the effective hourly rate for your package, less an administrative fee equal to 10% of the refunded amount. Hours already used are not refundable.

Missed sessions and cancellations

Please give at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel a scheduled session. Ascensa staff assess late cancellations and no-shows individually, determine any package hours charged and tutor compensation, and communicate the decision and its effect on refund eligibility.

Package hours do not expire

Unused package hours do not expire and are not forfeited because time has passed. The refund terms above continue to apply to unused hours.

Refund method

Refunds are issued to the original payment method within a reasonable time after the cancellation request. Questions can be sent to hello@ascensaedu.com.
